Yes. Faith Lock itself, the daily verse and prayer, reminders, streaks and widgets are free, and your first guided reflection is free too. Faith Lock Premium adds more guided reflections. Prices and trial details are shown in the app before you buy.
How does the lock work?
Faith Lock uses Apple's Screen Time. You choose apps, categories or websites, and when you open one, Faith Lock covers it with today's verse. Tap “Pray to unlock”, then tap the notification that appears. After a short prayer, your apps open for the time you picked: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour or the rest of the day. Then they lock again on their own.
Why does unlocking go through a notification?
Apple doesn't let the lock screen open another app directly. Faith Lock sends a notification instead, and tapping it takes you straight to the prayer. Keep notifications on for Faith Lock so unlocking is one tap. Without them, you can open Faith Lock yourself to pray.
What if I need an app right away?
Praying to unlock takes about a minute. You're always in charge: you can change which apps are locked, or turn Faith Lock off, from Settings → Faith Lock in the app.
Can Faith Lock see which apps I use?
No. Apple keeps your choices private. Faith Lock gets private tokens instead of app names, so it never knows which apps you picked. Screen Time data stays on your iPhone and isn't sent to us or anyone else.
Which iPhones does it work on?
The lock needs iOS 16 or later. Faith Lock is available for iPhone.
Does the reflection feature claim to be Jesus?
No. Reflections are based on the four Gospels and point you back to scripture. Faith Lock doesn't claim to be Jesus or to speak for God, any church or any pastor, and it isn't a substitute for pastoral care or professional advice.
How do I cancel Premium?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Faith Lock.
